Schiopetto Friulano Friuli 2023 (750ml)

Schiopetto Friulano Friuli 2023 (750ml)

Producer's Notes: Traditional wine with a strong typicality and personality, obtained exclusively from Friulano grapes, the historic vine of the Collio Goriziano planted in a ventilated hilly area and in mainly marl soils of Eocene origin. The harvest of these grapes is followed by soft pressing which is accompanied by a short period of settling in the total absence of sulfur dioxide. The start of fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with addition of pied de cuve at a controlled temperature. The refinement takes place on the lees for 8 months.

Bright straw yellow, with gold-greenish reflexes

Outstanding nose, with intense aromas of pear and apricot, barely perceivable the classic almond; further aromas of wildflowers help to give more complexity.

The palate is full-bodied, dynamic with an aristocratic balance deriving from an excellent fusion between of its freshness and marine notes, together with its match of aromas to the nose and mouth.
