This is a perfect Sake to enjoy with Thanksgiving dinner. It is rich and earthy with notes of dried mushrooms with a crisp finish. This is one of the more versatile Sakes, as it will pair well with Roast Turkey, Charcuterie, Rich Risotto, or a hearty Stew. This can also be served at various temperatures; cold is good, room temperature is better, and hot is exceptional. This is a fuller body sake from the Shiga Region made with Tamazakae Rice. - JD Arredondo

The Tomita Brewery in the Tiga prefecture is the 3rd oldest Sake brewery in Japan and produces this crisp sake with great umami flavors of dried mushroom and roasted cashew.   Shichi Hon Yari Junmai is made with Tamasakae Rice and is named for the Seven Spearsmen that fought in the battle of Shizugatake outside the town of Kinomoto, home of the  Tomita brewery. Pair with Jamon Iberico, Olives, and Marcona Almonds.
